JAMMU, Mar 12: The 5th Edition of LexTalk World Global Legal & IP Conference held at New Delhi witnessed an overwhelming response from top professionals and featured prominent sponsorship by MRS Business Professionals Consulting along with the Indian Society of International Law as an Associating Partner.
Seven eminent legal personalities of India who graced the occasion as honorary guests were Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge of the Supreme Court of India; R. Vekataramani, Attorney General of India; Justice Pankaj Mitthal, Judge of the Supreme Court of India; Tushar Mehta, Solicitor General of India; Pravin H. Parekh, President of the Indian Society of International Law; Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms, India and Nar Hari Singh, Senior Central Govt Counsel, Ex Add Adv General, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India.
The conference marked the debut of LexTalk World in India, following its inaugural edition in Dubai in 2021.
On day 1, Tushar Mehta and Dr. Lalit Bhasin delivered talk on ‘Interdependence between In-House and External Counsels.
Various legal professionals were conferred with the prestigious LexFalcon Global Awards for exceptional contributions in legal professionals.
On Day 2, Pravin H Parekh enlightened the gathering and discussions centered around the ‘Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Legal Industry: Opportunities and Ethical Considerations’ among other subjects.
The day concluded with speeches by Justice Rajesh Bindal on ‘Use of Technology in Courts’.
Award Distribution Ceremony recognized the outstanding contributions of more than 100 legal professionals globally, with four Legal Start-up Initiatives – Legal Rights, Legal Litigate, Legal Baatein, and Law Putra – being acknowledged as the Legal Influencers of the year.
Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred upon Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of the Society of Indian Law Firms and Pravin H. Parekh, President of the Indian Society of International Law.
