JAMMU, June 24: BJP JKUT general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta spearheaded a successful door-to-door campaign in Ward 31 of Talab Tillo Mandal. He was accompanied by Keshav Chopra, Mandal president of Talab Tillo, councilor Sucha Singh, booth president 76, Rajpal Singh, and a dedicated group of party members.
He focused on creating awareness about various Government initiatives. During the interaction, he reiterated that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s dynamic leadership has ushered in an era of progress, upliftment, and transformation for Jammu and Kashmir, positively impacting the lives of millions of citizens.
In response to the recent termination of doctors Bilal Ahmad Dalal and Nighat Shaheen Chilloo, Vibodh Gupta made a strong statement regarding the increasing fear and nervousness among sympathisers, actors, perpetrators, and supporters of terrorism in the Kashmir Valley. Gupta emphasised that the Modi Government has exposed their true identities and ensured that they face exemplary punishment. He hailed the LG Manoj Sinha’s unwavering resolve in combating terrorism and applauded the efforts to bring an end to the decades-long unrest in the Valley. The two doctors were found to have collaborated with Pakistan in 2009, falsifying postmortem reports to incite disaffection against security forces.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have long endured the brunt of terrorism and its adverse consequences on their daily lives, now witness a significant turning point. The decisive measures taken by the Government to identify, apprehend, and bring to justice individuals who support or sympathise with acts of terrorism have instilled a renewed sense of hope and security within the people.” Vibodh added.
Speaking on the occasion, Keshav Chopra, Mandal president of Talab Tillo said that people have unwavering support for Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and his vision for progress. He highlighted that numerous initiatives and programmes have been launched to foster growth and prosperity in various sectors of the Modi Government, ensuring holistic development and better opportunities for all.
Councilor Sucha Singh also spoke on the occasion and expressed his belief that the BJP Government’s unwavering commitment to justice, peace, and development in the Union Territory remains steadfast.
