LEH, Sept 20: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier B D Mishra (Retired), inaugurated an exhibition, organized by MSME-Development Nucleus Cell Ladakh, for PM Vishwakarma artisans at Government Polytechnic College Leh.
As part of the celebration, a mega event was organized at Wardha in Maharashtra which was graced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A total of 500 Centres participated all over India for this event at Wardha (Maharashtra) which was live telecasted.
After inaugurating the exhibition, Brigadier B D Mishra interacted with the artisans. He suggested artisans to make use of the scheme and take part, and also contribute in the growth story of Ladakh.
G Velladurai (IEDS) took round to all the stalls which were put up by artisans travelled from various parts of Ladakh. More than 25 stalls have been put up by the artisans. At the end of the event, certificates were issued to the participants of the exhibition.
After visiting the stalls in the exhibition, G Velladurai also participated in the mega event organized at Wardha (Maharashtra). Deachen Chuskit and Tsering Chorol from Ladakh also participated in the mega event at Wardha.
Along with chief guest, Dr Pawan Kotwal (Advisor to LG Ladakh), Sanjeev Khirwar (Principal Secretary, Industries), Padma Angmo (Commissioner/Secretary (Higher Education), Santosh Sukhadave (DC Leh), Mohammad Nazir Sheik (Director Industries, Ladakh) and other dignitaries also visited the exhibition.
