The revised version of Exam Warriors, which was first launched in the year 2018, is being launched across the country between January 15 to 19. PM Modi would also address students, teachers and parents during the 6th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on January 27.
Terming the students as a vulnerable group and exams as a vulnerable time for students, LG Mathur appreciated PM Modi’s initiative for successfully addressing the issues faced by the students in Mann Ki Baat and Pariksha Pe Charcha. He stated that the 34 mantras given by PM Modi in the book show his in-depth thinking and analysis of the problems faced by the students. He further stated that the PM’s interaction with students during Pariksha Pe Charcha shows his concern and the need to reach out to students along with the teachers and parents who play an important role in preparing the students to face the board exams.
Highlighting some of the mantras given by PM Modi in the book, LG Mathur reiterated the need for the students to become a warrior instead of worrier while facing the Class 10 and 12 board exams. He emphasised the need for parents, guardians and teachers not to convey their worry to the students and instead create an atmosphere of festival during the board exams.
LG Mathur advised that the Directorate of School Education may take a cue from PM Modi’s Exam Warriors and take necessary steps while implementing National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 in Ladakh. He suggested that the book Exam Warriors may be quickly translated into Ladakhi languages such as Bhoti or Urdu before the board exams and the mantras given by PM Modi may be summarised. The material, he stated, then may be distributed among students, parents, guardians and teachers in the initial stages of the reopening of the schools in March to enable the students to face the board exams with courage.
LG Mathur advised Class 10 and 12 students not to fear exams and also requested the parents and guardians to change their outlook towards the board exams. He requested both the Hill Councils and the concerned officials to spread the message among the students, parents and guardians to help achieve the objective set by the Prime Minister.
