JAMMU, Mar 15: Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) today urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to make “The Kashmir Files” tax-free movie as done in many states so that students visualise the catastrophe that happened in J&K in 1990.
Jasmeet Singh Madaan, senior vice president, ABRSM, Jammu unit said that in many States like UP, MP, Karnataka, Goa and Uttarakhand, it is done tax – free. It is imperative that it should also be made tax free in J&K UT as the story pertains to the circumstances that has forced exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Our young generation particularly Kashmiri Pandit students who were born after the mass exodus should acquaint themselves with the history as the visual content casts their impression more as compared to reading the books,” he said.
Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh appreciated Vivek Agnihotri and his full team for highlighting the true picture and circumstances that led to this cstastrophe and urged Vivek Agnihotri to make more & more films on nationalism.
