JAMMU, Dec 22: The statement made by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha over protest by employees of reserve category and special package employees is unfortunate and shows high headed approach of the Union Territory administration with no one in Government to listen to the genuine issues of employees on protest.
This was stated by state senior spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and co-incharge of state media coordination committee, Jagdeep Singh while addressing a press conference, here today. He mentioned about remarks of J&K LG in yesterday’s presser in which he had said ‘No salary for sitting at home’.
Jagdeep said that this statement is out of high headed approach of J&K Government run by bureaucrats who have no concern towards plight of a common man of J&K but things are being run in dictatorial mode and policies mere for publicity are being implemented.
He reminded J&K LG that these employees are not sitting in their homes but are on roads holding dharna and LG administration is itself responsible for this mess which has been created.
The senior AAP leader further lashed at J&K Government for ignoring these protesting employees in best possible manner stating that these employees are not demanding anything out of this planet but their demand is simple and straight which is for providing safety and security of lives.
“This is a sensitive issue as it concerns lives of these employees but unfortunately Government is not only looking in other way but J&K UT head is issuing statements having wider impact on employees and it shows that Government is not having even an inch of feeling towards problems of employees,” said Jagdeep.
He also asked Bhartiya Janta Party to have some humanitarian feeling towards these employees and said that this is high time that BJP should come solid on its slogans towards Kashmiri Pandits and reserve category employees.
