JAMMU, Apr 28: An employee of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) was found hanging today in Sanjay Nagar area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Sudheer Saini (47) son of Madan Lal Saini, resident of Sanjay Nagar,” a police official said, adding his body was found hanging from a fan with the rope at his residence this afternoon.
He said after getting conducted postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family members for last rites while Gangyal police had initiated inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC in this connection.
