JAMMU, Apr 30: The Life Insurance Corporation of India today signed MoU with J&K Grameen Bank for providing Life Insurance Coverage to savings bank account holders under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
The MoU was signed by Ashok Thakur, Divisional Manager and Chaitanya Sharma from LIC of India and Vagish Chander Sharma, Chairman and Anita Sharma of the J&K Grameen Bank.
The scheme will give life coverage of Rs 200000 between age 18 to 50 yrs in case of death due to accident or natural to accounts holders of the bank with very low premium of Rs 330.
