SRINAGAR : Life is limping back to normal today in the frontier district of Kupwara, where widespread violence since April 12 left five people, including a woman, dead followed by curfew restrictions.
There is no curfew restrictions in any part of the district today, officials said, adding that situation is limping back to normal.
Shops and business establishments reopened in all major towns in the district and traffic was also plying on all routes. Educational institutions also reopened this morning.
The district authorities had announced closure of all educational institutions as a precautionary measure in view of the violence and curfew restrictions. (AGENCIES)
