SHIMLA, Nov 9:
Light snowfall was experienced in isolated parts of higher reaches in Himachal Pradesh, however it was mainly dry, misty and hazy in the rest of state.
A local Met officer told UNI that high reaches of Lahaul Spiti and Kinnuar got mild to light snowfall in the last 24 hours. The Met office also forecast rain or snowfall during the next 24 hours in the higher reaches and mainly dry weather in the rest of the state.
The snowfall did not disrupt the poll-bound state, however, the mercury came down as Keylong was cold at 0.9 degree Celsius, Kalpa 2.8 degrees C, Manali 4.4 degrees C, Solan 7.5 degrees C, Bhuntar in Kullu 7.6 degrees, Sunderngar 7.7 degrees, Mandi and Chamba eight degrees C, Shimla 9.5 degrees C, Palampur 10 degrees C, Dalhousie 10.5 degrees C, Una 10.7 degrees C, Hamirpur 11.8 degrees C, Bilaspur 12.5 degrees C and Nahan 12.7 degrees C.
