RAJOURI, Nov 8: A lineman of the Power Development Department (PDD) sustained serious injuries after he received electric shocks and fell down from a pole while working in Sunderbani area today.
A police spokesman said that lineman Pushvinder Singh, son of Ashok Singh, resident of Aanpur, Sunderbani was working at a pole after power failure under Banpuri station this afternoon. He sustained serious electric shocks and burns and fell down from the electric pole. He was rushed to Sunderbani hospital where doctors provided first aid and then referred him to GMC hospital, Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
