Srinagar, Nov 26: Police today said a lineman was electrocuted while another was injured after they received electric shock in Nowgam area here last evening.
A police spokesman said here that two persons identified as Ghulam Hassan Mir (lineman) and Irfan Ahmad Shiekh received an electric shock when they were repairing power supply cable at Rakhi Shalina in Tengan locality of Nowgam in city outskirts.
“Both the injured were shifted to the Pampore hospital where Ghulam Hassan Mir succumbed to his injuries,” he added.
