KATHUA, Jan 7: An employee of Power Development Department identified as Ranjit Singh resident of Jakhbar , Kathua died after he fell down into deep nullah with his Motorcycle No JK08M6263 in Sherpur Khud Nullah from a bridge which was without safety railing when he was on way to attend his duty in dense fog during last night.
His body was fished out by police this morning when local people noticed his bike in nullah at Sherpur village of Kathua. His family members said that he was missing since intervening night when he was gone to attend emergency call at Changran feeder. There was dense fog during the intervening night and visibility was very poor under such circumstances when the bridge was without safety rolling caused accident and fell down into deep nullah told family members.
Kathua Police has registered a case and started investigation into the matter.
