JAMMU, July 17: All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union today expressed its concern and anguish over increasing linemen accidents while discharging their duties.
It was stated by Ashiq Hussain, president of Union while addressing the meeting of office bearers and executive members which was held here today at Indira Chowk.
The meeting was jointly addressed by Ashiq Hussain, president and Pawan Sharma, general secretary wherein they also expressed concern over untimely death of Lineman, Sunil Kumar, son of Sohan Kumar when he was discharging his duty to repair technical snag in high tension line at Chakroi, RS Pura on yesterday.
The leaders urged the PDD and LG to initiate enquiry over the incident, so that such incident do not happen in future.
