JAMMU, Mar 31: All Jammu and Kashmir Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union has warned the PDD authorities to withdraw show cause notice served to the recently promoted employees.
In a meeting of the Union held here today under the chairmanship of Tara Chand (president), the members appealed to the Chief Engineer EM&RE Jammu to cancel the show cause notice served to a large number of employees just for the sake of harassment.
Tara Chand pointed out that these workers have been promoted after a long gap of 18 years from Technician-IV to the position of Technician-III. They were promoted after the conduct of proper DPC. He warned agitation if the controversial show cause notice was not withdrawn.
