POONCH, Sept 13: The worst condition of road in Surankote from Mohra Wala Naka to Jogi Morh has irked the people of the locality.
The entire surface of the road has been broken badly and it has virtually turned into a `Khud’. This road users are facing lot of problems due to road condition. The concerned R&B authorities have totally failed to improve the condition of this link road.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dak Bungalow Surankote, Gurudwara Mohalla, Mohra Wala Naka to Jogi Morh road has been in dilapidated conditions since long causing great inconvenience to the locals while the Govt seems to be in slumber.
This nearly 4 kms long road, has been in dilapidated condition since long but the successive Govts have shown a lackadaisical attitude to repair this road to facilitate vehicular movement. The road has potholes at many places making the journey in vehicles treacherous and risky, especially for patients and pregnant women.
Due to pathetic condition of the road, students and employees face immense hardships to reach their respective destinations on daily basis.
The residents of the area appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and the District Administration Poonch for their intervention, resolving the long awaited issue of the people for ensuing improvement of the road.
