JAMMU, Feb 2: A delegation of members of Lions Club Jammu Royal today met newly elected office bearers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Jammu and discussed their future activities.
The delegation told CCI Jammu office bearers that Lions Club Jammu Royal, a part of Lions International is world’s biggest social service organization and is active in Jammu since 1994.
They were told that the Lions Club is engaged in various service projects like free cataract surgeries, blood donation camps, distribution of free ration and clothes to the needy, and books and uniforms to the poor students, etc. Besides, the future activities of the Club were discussed with the CCI office bearers.
Sanjay Nagpal, who was part of the delegation, assured Arun Gupta (president CCI Jammu and his team) of full cooperation and participation of Club members in various activities of the Chamber for the betterment of Jammu City and its business environment.
Speaking on the occasion, president CCI reiterated that he will work tirelessly for betterment of the business community of Jammu region.
Also present were Rajesh Gupta (former senior vice president of CCI), Sanjeev Soni, Devinder Gupta, Amit Jandyal, Rakesh Gupta, Shant Gupta, Partap Mahajan, Sanjay Mahajan, Dinesh Sharma, Anil Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, BB Kotwal and Ajay Sabharwal.
