Liquor sale near religious places, educational institutions resented

JAMMU, Jan 28: Continuing its campaign against the sale of liquor near religious places and educational institutions, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit, here today visited Janipur and Lower Roop Nagar areas.
Speaking on the occasion Shiv Sena J&K chief, Manish Sahni said that sale of liquor near a private school in Lakkar Mandi area in Janipur is an immoral activity.
Many people expressed resentment and said that drug addiction among the youth is increasing day-by-day and doorstep availability of liquor is largely responsible for this.
People of Lower Roop Nagar area also expressed similar concern.
Sahni said that the campaign will continue until the sale of liquor is banned near all religious places and educational institutions.
