JAMMU, July 10: Jammu is gearing up for its first multilingual literary festival this December.
This literary festival will be a landmark and big achievement for the Jammu people.
According to Director of the festival, Nupur Sandhu, it is registered under Literary Society of India and one of the unique festivals as authors and poets from all over India are coming to Jammu for celebrating four languages; Dogri, English, Hindi and Urdu.
Speakers in the event will be Dr Sudeep Ranjan Sarkar, an international film maker; Ayushman Jamwal, senior editor CNN, Channel News 8; Anirban Bhattacharya, Creator and Producer of Savdhan India and Neil d Silva.
For the panel discussion, there will be Prof D A Devadas, Aarti Singh Tikoo and Lt Gen K S Cheema (Deputy Chief- Retd). Author Meghna, real life hero of Tsunami survivor and authors of different genres are coming from all over India, including Minal Arora, Rashmi Joshi, Payal Jain, Vinayak, Dr Kanwal Preet, Abhirup Dhar, Jagriti, Ashish, Vandana Daji, Nilanjana and many more.
