Literary meet held

JAMMU, Apr 3: In the sweet memory of its founder Dr O P Sharma, the legendary personality of literary world and an eminent multilingual faceted literary, cultural and spiritual light of the time, the multilingual literary organization Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu, held a very special literary, socially get together with the title of ‘Ek Sham Sarthi Ke Nam, on his 91st birthday celebration at its literary centre in the premises of New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, here.
A large number of literary stars and many other devotees of Gurudev Sarthi participated in the function. This function was presided over by a well known Punjabi poet and singer Rajpal Singh Mastana.
proceedings of the function were conducted by Ved Uppal, organisor, Adbi Kunj.
In his inaugural address, Sham Talib, president of the organization, paid rich tributes to their Gurudev Sarthi ji and threw light on his contributions towards the various literature of different languages.
He was the Sahitay Akademy Award winner writer of 1979. The other devotees speakers were included Rajpal Singh Mastana, Ved Upal, Com. Jaswant Singh, Zeenat Fardous and Romesh Rahi.
In the creative literary session, proses like Sarthi Mere Guru Chand Yadan by Sham Talib, Chakbast Ek Sabrang Sahir by M L Gangoo Faqrisal, Dharse Rohanyat by M L Puri and Bolna Mana Hai (Hindi) by S K Gupta were presented.
The meet concluded with the vote of thanks by M L Puri, vice chairman of the Adbi Kunj, Jammu.
