UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: On the direction of District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Legal Metrology Department conducted intensive market checking on the eve of festival season and realized a fine of Rs. 19000 from 36 erring traders.
The department has warned the traders not to deceive innocent public by using fraudulent trade practices and get their weight and measures stamped from department.
