JAMMU, Nov 6: Legal Metrology Department (LMD) today conducted inspections of various shops and booked five traders for deceiving customers.
According to Deputy Controller, Enforcement, LMD, said that, five traders including M/s Cadbury India, owners of sweet, pastry seller, hardware and crockery shops were booked by the Department under Weights and Measuring Law vis-à-vis other laws.
Deputy Controller appealed the people to be vigilant while purchasing gifts and other items on the eve of coming festivals.
