UDHAMPUR, Oct 12: On the eve of festival season, Legal Metrology Department conducted intensive market checking at Udhampur and adjoining areas. The department realised a fine of Rs.8000 from 15 erring traders.
They warned the traders not to deceive innocent public by using fraudulent trade practices and get their weights and measures stamped from the department.
