SAMBA, Mar 10: A team of Legal Metrology Department Samba today conducted inspection of stationery shops at Vijaypur.
During the inspection, the Inspector LMD Samba booked two stationery shops for violation of packaged commodities rule. The team seized 80 school belts,62 school diaries,9 school bags,3 track suits,110 uniform shirts,48 pencil boxes,10 color boxed. The stationery shops are selling these items without mandatory declarations such as MRP, packing date, manufacturing/packer address etc.
The defaulter traders were directed to attend the office for further legal action.
