POONCH, May 29: Legal Metrology Department (LMD) today booked the manager and the owner of a petrol pump under the provisions of J&K Weights and Measures Enforcement Act-1997 for delivering less petrol to the motorists.
The LMD team also charged a fine of Rs. 8000 from the pump owner.
Earlier, a team of officers conducted surprise checking at all the petrol pumps in the border town and on its suburbs.
