JAMMU, Aug 30: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (LMM), India’s leading electric 3-wheeler company, has unveiled its newest addition to the electric 3-wheeler line-up-the Mahindra e-Alfa Super.
This cutting-edge e-rickshaw, infused with Mahindra’s unwavering reliability, promises to remain a lucrative avenue for self-employment among driver partners due to its extended range, top-notch safety, and exceptional comfort features.
A standout feature of the e-Alfa Super is its remarkable range of over 95 kilometres on a single charge, achieved through rigorous driving validations by Mahindra. This extended range empowers drivers to optimize their earnings while making a positive environmental impact.
Equipped with a 140 Ah lead-acid battery, the e-Alfa Super boasts a certified range that is 20% higher than its predecessor. The vehicle’s motor generates 1.64 kW peak power and 22Nm torque, ensuring outstanding performance.

Further enriching the e-Alfa Super’s offering is its superior 18 A charger, complete with a 12-month warranty.
This charger accelerates charging times, enabling drivers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Mahindra’s 3-wheeler EV customers also gain access to a nationwide network of over 10,000 charging stations, facilitated through their charging partners.
Mahindra ensures customer satisfaction with a one-year warranty on the vehicle, while the battery is fortified by an 18-month warranty, underscoring long-term reliability. Servicing the vehicle is convenient, with more than 1,150 Mahindra touchpoints available across India.
With a robust metal body, the e-Alfa Super incorporates best-in-class safety features, including an advanced braking system and roof-mounted grab handles. The vehicle is priced at ?1.67 lakh, ex-showroom, contingent upon the local government’s approval for e-rickshaws in the specific state.
The launch event saw the presence of dignitaries, including Vivek Gupta (Area Manager, Mahindra), Amit Sharma (General Manager – Astro India), Kapil Dev (Sales Manager – Astro India), and other officials from Astro India, Mahindra Finance, and Cholamandalam.
