KATHUA, Sept 16: The Jammu -Pathankote National Highway was blocked for one hour this afternoon after the drivers of load carriers squatted on the highway along with their vehicles at Chadwal this afternoon in protest against the Traffic Police for slapping a challan on a load carrier driver at Koota today.
The irate load carrier operator after reaching Chadwal informed his colleagues of the same who along with their vehicles resorted to road blockade and the traffic on National Highway was disrupted for one hour.
The traffic was only restored on road after the intervention of the SHO Rajbagh who pacified the agitating drivers of load carriers and assured them that the issue will be taken up with the officers of Traffic Police.
