POONCH, May 1: The police seized a tipper and a JCB involved in illegal mining activity in Suran river in tehsil Surankote today.
Official sources said that acting on a specific information, a police party led by SHO on the directions of SDPO Surankote conducted raid in Sanai area and seized a JCB and a Tipper which were involved in illegal mining. They were handed over to the G&M department official Poonch for imposing/ penalty and initiating legal action in this regard.
