UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: A moving truck loaded with karyana material and hardware items caught fire under mysterious circumstances on the National Highway, near Samroli, early this morning.
The truck, bearing registration number JK019-3360 caught fire due to unknown reasons and on getting information, police team from Chenani, headed by SHO Paramjeet Singh rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the truck was completely gutted. However, there was no human casualty or injury in the incident while exact loss of property could not be ascertained immediately.
Police has registered the case in this regard and started investigation.
