Lobia weakens in thin trade

NEW DELHI, June 15:  In restricted activity, lobia prices weakened by Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on lack of demand against adequate stocks position.
Traders said adequate stocks positions against lack of demand put pressure on lobia prices.
In the national capital, lobia declined by Rs 100 to Rs 3,500-4,900 per quintal.
The following were today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,700-3,900, Urad Chilka (local) 4,550-4,900, best 5,000-5,500, Dhoya 5,500-5,700, Moong 5,100-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,600-6,000, Moong Dhoya local 5,750-5,850 and best quality 6,400-6,500.
Masoor small 4,200-4,400, bold 4,350-4,600, Dal Masoor local 4,900-5,000, best quality 4,970-5,070, Malka local 4,600-4,700, best 4,800-4,900, Moth 3,500-4,100, Arhar 4,250-4,650, Dal Arhar Dara 5,950-6,150.
Gram 3,150-3,900, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-3,900, best quality 3,920-4,020, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,570, Rajdhani 1,570, Rajmah Chitra 8,300-9,500, Kabli Gram small 3,600-5,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100; Lobia 3,500-4,900, Peas white 2,650-2,675 and green 2,725-2,825. (PTI)
