Locals demand doctors at Unani Hospital Nawabbagh

GANDERBAL, July 24: The absence of doctors at Government Unani Medical College and Hospital, Nawabbagh Ganderbal has left people in the lurch as they are forced to travel to places for want of treatment.
Locals said that doctors are not available at the hospital, resulting in disappointment to people to throng the hospital for the want of treatment.
The locals said that the medicines available at the hospital were given to the patients free of cost but due to the non-availability of doctors, various medicines are set to expiring as they are not prescribed.
Locals said that people from District Bandipora, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Srinagar used to come there for the treatment, but due to the absence of doctors the place is of no use now
“The concerned authorities are indifferent; people who rely on indigenous or Greek methods of treatment are facing difficulties,” a local said.
The local population has demanded the authorities must immediately deploy required doctors to Government Unani Medical College and Hospital Nawabbagh Ganderbal so that the public does not suffer anymore.
