UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: Alleging failure of Public Health Engineering (PHE) in providing adequate water supply to them, the residents of village Jandror in Ramnagar today held a protest against the PHE Department.
The protesters raised slogans against the PHE Department and said that there was no supply of drinking water for the last one month. “Despite repeated pleas to the District administration and PHE authorities, water supply is not regular for long time with the result people of the area are suffering,” they said.
The protesting villagers threatened to gherao the concerned authorities if the regular water supply is not immediately ensured.
