RAMNAGAR, Jan 21: The locals of Ward Number 9-10 in Ramnagar protested against poor condition of streets, here today and demanded immediate repair of the same.
The protest demonstration was organized under the chairmanship of Veena Devi, Councilor of Ward Number 10. Locals of Ward Number 9-10 took part in the protest and raised slogans against Municipal Council Ramnagar and Udhampur district administration stating that people were suffering due to bad condition of the streets.
Veena Devi told media persons that the matter was brought into the notice of higher authorities several times but all in vain.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by her, along with Mool Raj, Gayatri Devi, Pooja Devi, Geeta Devi, Sushma Devi, Kanta Devi, Sanjay Kumar, and Sunil Sharma.
