UDHAMPUR, May 26: The relatives of the deceased missing boy and locals of Udhampur town staged protest near District Hospital today alleging that boy whose body was recovered near Dudar Nallah bridge was murdered.
Rehmbal police had recovered the unidentified dead body of youth, who was today identified as Deepak Matoo (20), son of Ved Prakash, a resident of Adrash Colony, Udhampur.
Today morning, family members and locals held protest in front of District Hospital Udhampur, claiming that Deepak has been murdered . They said on Monday morning about 10 am he left for work on his Scooty bearing registration No. JK14E-7326. They said that family started his search after he did not return. He went missing mysteriously. His body was unfortunately found at Duddar Nallah under Rehmbal Police Station. They demanded proper investigation into the matter.
