REASI, Oct 30: Following theft in two shops at Arnas main market last night, the shopkeepers and locals held a strong protest demonstration against the Police authorities, here today.
The protesting people staged a dharna near Arnas Bus Stand and blocked the Reasi-Mahore road. They were shouting slogans against the Police authorities for the failure to ensure safety of the shops in the area.
The protest dharna continued till the authorities persuaded the shopkeepers and assured necessary action in this regard.
Meanwhile, case was registered in the theft of two shops.
