UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: Aggrieved over extremely bad condition of the road, locals of the Sangam Vihar Colony, Ward number 21 Dandyal, today protested against the Public Works (R&B) Department and district administration.
They raised slogans against the concerned Government authorities and demanded immediate repair and blacktopping of the road.
The protesting people lamented that despite their repeated requests, no action was taken by the district administration and PWD (R&B) to repair the road connecting the Chief Education Officer’s office, Sangam Vihar Colony, Dandyal Ward number 21.
They said that during the rainy days, the road turns muddy filled with mud water thus inviting possible accidents.
