UDHAMPUR, July 28: Locals of village Badhota today protested in front of incomplete building of Primary Health Center (PHC) Badhota, which has not been completed by the Public Works Department since years.
The protesting villagers raised slogans against the PWD authorities for their failure to complete the building. They were demanding immediate completion of the building and posting of adequate medical staff as well as doctor there.
The protest was led by BJP leader Sandhoor Singh of Badhota Mandal Moungri, along with Panch Nisha Devi, Raj Singh- social worker, Pritam Singh- ex Sarpanch Kartar Singh and Suram Singh. They said that building of PHC Badhota in Tehsil Panchari was lying incomplete because of pending payments by the concerned department.

To enquire about the progress of PHC Badhota, Sandoor Singh said that he had already submitted an application to PWD Udhampur on 06-02-2020 seeking details of the building work, date of commencement, total expenditure and amount sanction for the same, works pending and , bills passed till date, but no reply was furnished.
