UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: Demanding resumption of work on Kainthgali -Moungri -Bariote road, the Sar[amcjs, Panches and local public of tehsil Moungri today held a strong protest against the PMGSY Department.
Under the leadership of Sarpanch Hans Raj Thakur, the protesters were raising slogans for immediately resuming the road work. The work was started by the PMGSY Department for widening the said road but the same has been stopped now for the unknown reason.
Because of incomplete work, condition of the said road is very bad. The route buses are not plying properly in time due to worst condition of road . Those who were present in the protest, included Sarpanch Koshal Kumar, Sarpanch Yashpal Singh, Sarpanch Kunj Lal, Sarpanch Des Raj, Sarpanch Savita Devi, Shamsher Singh, Romesh Singh and others.
