Locals, students up in arms against Edu Deptt

DODA, May 10: Locals of village Banzal and students of Government Primary School Banzal are up in arms against the Education Department over shortage of teaching staff in the institutions.
The protesters alleged that due to the shortage of teaching staff in the school the students are suffering a lot and their education is also getting hampered.
The issue was taken up with the ZEO and Chief Education Officer Doda, but no action has been initiated.
The protesters warned to launch indefinite strike if Education Department fails to fulfill the vacant posts of the teachers within week.
