KARGIL, June 3: A Lok Adalat was held here yesterday in the Court Complex Kargil under the chairmanship of Senior District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khurshid Raina who is Chairman of District Legal Services Authority Kargil.
In the Lok Adalat, motor accident cases were taken up. Out of 17 listed cases, two execution petitions among nine cases were settled and an award of Rs 18 lakh was passed in favour of petitioners.
The cases were settled in the presence of respective counsels of the parties and the representatives of the Insurance companies.
