NEW DELHI : The Lok Sabha today expressed grief over death of 24 people in a bus accident near Maroti in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan made reference at the beginning of the proceeding this morning, condoling deaths and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
Ms Mahajan said, “Twentyfour people died and 30 injured serious in the accident yesterday, this House condoles the deaths and hopes for speedy recovery of injured”.
The House also observed silence for a short while, as mark of respect for the deceased. (AGENCIES)
