JAMMU, Dec 15: Lolab Valley in Kupwara district has been awarded ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ in India in a function held at New Delhi.
“Congratulations Lolab on winning the Gold Award for ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ in India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory continue to achieve greater heights in tourism, infrastructure development and growth,” Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said in a post on X tagging post of Secretary Tourism Syed Abid Rasheed Shah.
Shah’s post read: “Proud to announce that Lolab has won the ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ in India. J&K tourism is scaling new heights under the able guidance of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha”.
