JAMMU, Sept 24: A delegation of Welfare Committee Dharamshalla Asthapan Lov Nag Lolpora, Lolab camp Ghari, Udhampur called on Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan and other officers of the district administration and discussed the various issues with them.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the delegation that all the problems will be solved in due course of time. The Assistant Commissioner Revenue was also present in the meeting who too assured timely solution to the problems put forth by the delegation.
The delegation brought in the notice of DC that the PHE Department has laid the slab over the spring in the holy Asthapan which should be removed at an earliest which she agreed in principle.
Then delegation later held a meeting with ACR and tehsildar Lalpora (Lolab) and discussed the issue of annual yield for the last 35 years and they assured timely solution of the issue also.
The issue of fallen trees and the highhandedness of tenants who have constructed their houses on shrine land was also discussed. The officers assured action against the encroachers.
The delegation complimented the DC Kupwara and other officers for taking keen interest in settling the problems.
