Look out notice for 14 in BOPEE scam

SRINAGAR, Mar 1: The Special Judge Anti Corruption today issued look out notice for 14 accused in the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) paper sale scam as they are absconding and are wanted by the Crime Branch.
The Special Judge Anti Corruption, Mohan Lal Manhas issued look out notice for 14 accused –  Mohammad Amin Ganie, Mir Wahid Majeed, Mir Danish Majeed, Abdul Majeed Mir, Fida Hussain, Ruhail Amin, Mohammad Amin Mir, Hilal Ahmad Shokli, Imtiyaz-ul-Hassan, Altaf Hussain Shah, Yasmina Jan, Arooj Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmad Kinoo and Mushtaq Ahmad Dar – in BOPEE scam.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Mohammad Aftab Mir submitted before the court that proceedings under Section 512 CrPC be initiated against 14 accused as they are not traced at this stage despite repeated searches.
“At this stage this court is satisfied that arrest of the accused person is not possible and as such proceedings under Section 512 are initiated against them. Office is directed to issue warrant against them which shall be sent to Manager Government Press for publication”, the court directed.
Earlier Mir produced supplementary challan against accused persons before the court. “Perusal of the report reveals that the challan is complete in all respects. Only accused Jan Mohammad Dar son of Ghulam Qadir Dar of Ali Kadal has been produced before this court from custody from central jail”, court observed.
