In a short span since its inception, Jahaan has carved a strong niche in the society and gained prominence through launching meaningful social drives, covering different aspects of life and involving all strata of society. The creative force behind Jahaan is Sunali Verma, a versatile genius, who plays multiple roles, as a mother, entrepreneur and social worker.
Under this activity the hotel staff had invited fifty homeless children with special needs. The children were treated to a three course meal at Blue Coriander –the multi specialty restaurant. The menu, planned by the chefs, tickled the taste buds of children. Their eyes twinkled with ecstasy and joys knew no bounds, when they relished their dream delicacies. Their joyful silence expressed their eloquence. The NGO volunteers and the hotel staff organized various fun filled games for the children, which must have got etched on their records of reminiscences forever.
On this memorable day, Stephen Yongmu GM stated “The goal of human excellence is not a destination, it is a journey and the reward of going on this journey is joy, greater joy, much greater joy and eternal bliss”. He also added, “At Lords Inn, we are quite conscious of our social responsibility and such welfare measures will find creative manifestation in myriad forms every month, as our hotel firmly believes in the ethos of giving back to the society.”
The function ended with the resolution taken by the staff and the volunteers that no child should go hungry.
