UDHAMPUR, Mar 2: In an apparent case of love angle and suicide, a married youth and a girl from his village were found hanging from a water supply pipe in forest area at Trisha near the Udhampur town.
The deceased were identified as Rajinder Kumar (19), son of Bansi Lal of Gandala and Mamta, aged 17 years, resident of Gandala. Both were missing since morning and later found hanging from the water pipe under mysterious circumstances, this afternoon.
On being informed by a Forest employee, a Police team from Udhampur Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to District Hospital for postmortem.
Locals said that Rajinder Kumar was married around six months back. Police suspects love angle in the case and apparent suicide by the duo.
After the postmortem and completion of other legal formalities, Police handed over the dead bodies to respective families. A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Udhampur for further investigation.
