JAMMU, Mar 4: A boy and a girl probably lovebirds allegedly committed suicide in a hotel room here today.
As per police sources, a boy and a girl allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and were found unconscious in a room of a hotel near Jewel Chowk today evening.
Both were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here, where they died during treatment.
The deceased were identified Nitu Thakur (20), daughter of Hem Raj and Raju (22), son of Vijay Singh, both residents of Ramnagar, District Udhampur.
The bodies of both the deceased have been shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for completion of medical and legal formalities.
Nowabad Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
