Lowest number of 1,603 yatris pay obeisance at holy cave

SRINAGAR: The lowest number of 1,603 yatris paid obeisance at the holy Amarnath cave shrine today since the commencement of the 40-day-long pilgrimage from June 29.

The number of pilgrims had witnessed a sharp drop during the past about one week. An official spokesman said here this evening that today on the 29th day of the Yatra 1, 603 Yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave.

With this a total of 2,49,755 pilgrims had darshan at the cave shrine situated in south Kashmir Himalayas. Majority of the pilgrims had reached their homes after the darshan. (AGENCIES)
