LPEF deputation submits memo to Ganai

JAMMU, Mar 15: A deputation of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF), Kashmir today met Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Advisor to Governor and presented a memorandum for release of pending 6 % DA installment in favour of State employees and pensioners.
The deputation told Advisor that due to unprecedented rise in price of essential goods of daily consumption continuously for quite a long time because of anti-people and anti-working class policies of Central and State Governments the employees and pensioners were unduly facing acute financial hardships.
“As such demand for release of long pending DA installment is required to be met on top priority in order to provide them much needed relief”, the deputation said. The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the deputation and gave an assurance to consider their demand very soon.
Mohd Shaban Bhat, Mohd Javed Shah and Nazir Ahmed Magrey were part of the deputation.
