JAMMU, Jan 29: Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) Kishtwar today organised a function here at Press Club of Jammu to pay rich tributes to late Krishan Dev Sethi on his 3rd death anniversary.
A multitude of workers from the Federation, pensioners, and members of civil society attended the event to honor Sethi’s legacy.
Leaders took the opportunity to shed light on the significant struggles late Sethi championed for the working class and peasants.
The hall echoed with slogans not only in memory of Krishan Dev Sethi but also in tribute to Late Abdul Majid Khan.
Kabla Singh presided over the function, and Abdul Hafeez Fani skilfully anchored the program, ensuring a poignant tribute to the departed leader.
Speakers at the event included Achal Dev Singh, Anil Verma from Vijapur, Luder Mani from Udhampur, Babu Ram from Akhnoor, Mir Shabir from Banihal, Abdul Hafiz Fani from Badherwah, Manzoor Ahmad Kitchloo from Kishtwar, Mohammad Hassan Mugal, Mohammad Yaseen Itoo from Anantnag, Gowhar Hafeez Fani, and others.
They collectively illuminated the impact of Krishan Dev Sethi’s efforts on the working class and the agricultural community.
The program transcended regional boundaries, with various delegates from Kashmir actively participating and contributing to the tribute.
